Recommended Product Names

We recommend Vallaint and Worcester gas, oil and LPG boilers and install all makes and models but we are also happy to give you advice and install other quality brands of gas boilers.

Most types of boiler can be high efficiency or 'condensing' boilers. There are high efficiency combination boilers, system boilers, or traditional open vent boilers. The term 'condensing' or high efficiency applies to the technology which is used. This means the boiler recovers more heat from the amount of gas that is burnt thereby making it more efficient than conventional boilers.

How do I decide which type of boiler best suits my needs?

Which boiler you need will depend on several factors, including your property and lifestyle.

There are 3 different types of boiler:

• Combi boiler (or ‘combination’ boiler)- Combi boilers provide heating and hot water directly from the boiler.
• Regular boiler (often also referred to as a ‘traditional’ or ‘conventional’ boiler) - heat your central heating system directly and produce hot water for your cylinder.
• System boiler - A system boiler heats your central heating system directly and produces hot water for your cylinder.

Requirements

You want to use your loft space for a room conversion or other purpose Choose Combi boiler

You live in a flat or bungalow (i.e. have very little or no roof space) Choose Combi boiler
